![]() In 1971, Lamborghini pulled the wraps off of the Countach, which have instantaneously gained vast amounts of respect for its revolutionary styling and performance, giving birth to the brand’s trademark wind-cutting wedge-style body design and LP engine layout. The introduction of the Miura was revolutionary, for it sported a beastly mid-rear-mounted 4.0L V12 engine, capable of letting out 385hp routed through a 5-speed MT spinning the rear wheels. It was followed by the legendary 1966 Lamborghini Miura. The success of the 350GT paved the way for the global automotive industry to take notice. That endeavour succeeded with his very first car, the 1963 Lamborghini 350GT. Igniting from Ferruccio Lamborghini’s desire to outclass the already well-established Ferrari, Lamborghini was founded on October 30, 1963, in the small town of Sant’Agata Bolognese.
